■3rd Person POV■

Y/N tidying the clothes she's wearing today. She decides to tie her hair up because to make things easier for what she's about to do today.

Y/N checks herself on the mirror and then is about to walk out of her room when Yona calls her.

Yona: Y/N chan no no, wait... come here...

Y/N turns around, watching as her roommate walks to her and lifts her face a little. Yona puts on a light colored lip balm on Y/N's lips.

Yona: now, there... perfect! You may proceed to leave~

Y/N takes another glance at the mirror and then smiles at her friend.

Y/N: thank you Yona... see you later...

With that Y/N heads to their meeting point, the area between the boy and girl's dormitories. Y/N arrives at the meeting point and sees that her friends are all there already.

A certain figure caught her attention right away, the tall ginger haired boy who sits next to her. Kawanishi stands with his casual outfit and turns his head to look at Y/N's way.

Kawanishi: good morning...

The two looks at each other and Y/N stands next to Kawanishi because the two are more comfortable around each other.

Y/N: ah, good morning Kawanishi san...

Y/N says in a small voice before greetings her other friends too. Kawanishi is staring at her, looking at her in her casual outfit.

Hinano: okay then now that everyone is here let's go to buy what our class needs...

The six of them walk to the bus stop near Shiratorizawa, heading to the market to get the tools and supplies.

As they walk, Kawanishi and Y/N are next to each other. While waiting for their time to get on the bus.

Kawanishi: L/N

Y/N looks up at her tall chair mate as he looks straight ahead.

Y/N: yes?

Kawanishi: the color of your lips... that looks good on you... come on get on now.

Y/N was startled and realizes that their friends have already get on the bus. Y/N immediately gets on and the Kawanishi follows her.

On their bus ride, Y/N can't help but feeling warm as her heart is fluttering by Kawanishi's compliment.

Not only her, but Kawanishi is also secretly embarrassed that he bluntly says that the color of her lips looks good on her.

They're trying to distract their mind to talk with their friends.

■Kawanishi's POV■

We've arrived at the shopping district closest to our school. There are some places that we need to get.

Miyano: I think it's better if we split... O can go with Joshikawa to get what the costume team needs...

Hinano: then Izumi and I will go get the materials for decoration... Kawanishi and L/N can go get the ingredients needed for food experiments...

Izumi: okay, let's meet again in here...

With that we all split, I watch as the other have gone to their designed store.

Y/N: Kawanishi san, let's go....

I look at L/N who stands on my right side. She's looking up at me and her eyes keep on making me glued to her each day.

Kawanishi: sure...

We walk to the mart that sells food ingredients and looks for all the things on the list. We've got all of the things we need from this mart and move on to another store.

Because we have several bags and I don't want L/N to tire herself up, I told her to wait and sit on a bench at the side of the plaza.

The last store that we need to get to is just across the street and it'll be easier if I go there while L/N rest here with our bags.

Kawanishi: I'll go for a bit... look after these bags in here while resting...

Y/N: yes, thank you Kawanishi san... be careful when crossing okay...

L/N looks at me with a small smile.

How to stop me from being pulled by this cute girl?

I nod and turn around, crossing the street right away, trying to ease my mind a little.

I got the rest of the things we need and walks out of the store. Just when I'm about to cross, I see a guy is talking to L/N, but she doesn't look comfortable.

That guy looks like a university freshman. Looking at how that guy is trying to get close to Y/N and see how she's not comfortable with it, I cross the street as soon as the light turned.

Y/N's eyes meet mine and I can see that she somehow looks calmer as our eyes met.

Kawanishi: do you need anything with her?

The guy whose height is probably 10cm shorter than I looks up at me. I notices that he gulps down as I'm petty sure I'm glaring at him right now.

Guy: oh, Nah, I just thought she's troubled with all of these bags, doesn't know she's with someone haha... well I guess I'll leave...

I watch as that guy walks away, my blood is a little boiled because I'm pissed that person made L/N uncomfortable, but.

Y/N: Kawanishi san...

I turn around and look at Y/N.

Kawanishi: you okay? Did he do anything weird?

L/an shook her head no and looks at me in the eyes.

Y/N: no... he didn't... because you came... thank you... now should we head back to meet everyone?

Whenever the corner of her lips turns up, my breath hitches.

Kawainishi: okay... let's go...

I should have listened to Shirabu...

If this keeps up...

I'll surely end up with a heartbreak...

■Y/N's POV■

Kawanishi san and I, along with Hinano and Izumi are already at the meeting point. We're waiting for Miyano and Joshikawa to come so we can go back to Shiratorizawa.

Izumi: there they are... come on

Joshikawa: sorry for the wait... anyway where are your goods?

Hinano: ours are too many, so we used the store delivery service...

After that, we all go to the bus stop again and go back to Shiratorizawa. There are only two empty seats and we decided to let Hinano and Joshikawa sit because their feet hurt.

We all put the bags under their seats and they also put some not too heavy bags on their laps.

As the bus moves, suddenly it stops making me almost fell. But an arm wrapped around me, preventing me from falling. I look back to see Kawanishi san worried face.

Kawanishi: you okay?

Dub Dub

It's happening again...

My heart is beating faster than it usually is. Whenever Kawanishi san and I touched or bumped, or even just being too close, this always happens.

Y/N: ah ye-yes... thank you...

Just then.

Miyano: L/N and Kawanishi... you two look cute together...

Eh?

Y/N: wh-what do you mean Miyano san?

Joshikawa: now when you talk about it... you two looks really close too, are guys secretly dating?

My heart is racing because of what they say.

Kawanishi: no We're just friends... we're close because we're chairmate...

I look up at Kawanishi san who looks unfazed at all.

Kawanishi: and we got close because we study together... that's all...

Kawanishi san is saying the truth but... why does my heart aches?

Hinano: ah right, L/N is also close with Nishimura from class 2... bla bla

Nishimura san is the person that I admire...

Hinano: right L/N?

Y/N: huh? Yes?

Izumi: she's zoning out just now haha, well I can feel that Nishimura is into her....

The bus stops at our stop and we get off of it to go back to Shiratorizawa. We all each have two bags with us.

As I walk, I can't help but think about what my friends said on the bus, and I can't help but wonder why I'm feeling uneasy when it's about Kawanishi san.

Kawanishi: L/N...

I look up to see Kawanishi san already standing in front of me without me noticing.

Y/N: ah yes?

Kawanishi: are those heavy? You look like you were troubled...

I look down at the bags in my hands. I was zoning out while staring at the road earlier and I think Kawanishi san mistook it.

Y/N: no, I'm okay, they're not heavy-

Kawanishi san takes one of the bag from me and turns around.

Kawanishi: you can leave this one for me...

Y/N: no... you already ha-

Kawanishi: come on...

Dub Dub

He stops walking but doesn't look like he's going to hand me the bag back. He's waiting for me because I'm a couple of steps behind.

I walk closer and when I'm next to him, he starts walking again. The two of us walk next to each other to Shiratorizawa.

Y/N: t-thank you...

Kawanishi: no problem...

It's weird...

When I talk with Nishimura san...

I can look at him....

But with Kawanishi san...

My heart is becoming weird...
